Corey Knebel Experiences Shoulder Tightness Saturday
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies pitcher Corey Knebel (shoulder) experienced tightness in his shoulder while warming up during Saturday's game against Arizona Diamondbacks. He will be evaluated on Sunday. The 30-year-old did not enter Saturday's game and is considered day-to-day. Knebel is Philadelphia's primary closer, converting 11-of-14 saves while posting a 3.24 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 23 strikeouts over 25 innings in 2022. Seranthony Dominguez or Brad Hand will compete for the closer job if Knebel misses any games. Stay tuned.
