2 years agoPittsburgh Pirates infielder Michael Chavis (forearm) has been held out of the starting lineup for each of the team's last three games due to a forearm injury. However, he made an appearance off the bench in Monday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was utilized as a pinch-runner in the ninth inning of the game and wound up scoring the game-winning run in the team's 6-5 victory. It seems likely that the 26-year-old will be back to full-time duties soon.
