3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper (elbow) is being held out of the starting lineup for the second straight game on Tuesday. The 29-year-old received a PRP injection on his right elbow on Sunday. The hope is that the PRP injection will heal the small tear in his UCL. When speaking to reporters on Tuesday about when he will be back in the starting lineup, Harper said, "either tomorrow or hopefully Thursday." He also added that he's more than a month away from playing right field again. Despite the elbow injury, Harper is off to a great start to the year from a statistical standpoint, slashing .305/.361/.634 with nine home runs, 27 RBI and 29 runs over 34 games.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
