Bo Bichette Goes 2-For-4 In Monday's Loss
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and two strikeouts in the team's 3-2 loss to the New York Yankees on Monday. This was the sixth multi-hit outing of the year for the 24-year-old, who has still yet to settle in at the plate. Through 24 games this season, Bichette is slashing .225/.248/.343 with three home runs, three stolen bases, 11 RBI and 11 runs. Fantasy managers should be confident that Bichette's surface numbers will start looking better soon. He's currently maintaining career-high clips in both average exit velocity (92.7 mph) and hard-hit rate (54.8%) and he has a .291 xBA. He's just been plagued by a career-high 2.41 ground ball to fly ball rate this year, up substantially from his career mark of 1.56.
