Aaron Hicks Batting Sixth In His Return
3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks was activated off of the paternity list on Friday. He is starting in center field for Friday's game against the Kansas City Royals and he'll be slotting into the No. 6 spot in the team's lineup. Hicks missed the entirety of the team's three-game series against the Baltimore Orioles this week. He bounced around the batting order a bit before hitting the paternity list. He batted leadoff in five straight games, but then wound up settling into the sixth spot in the order for the team's final two games last weekend. The 32-year-old is slashing .273/.377/.341 with one home run, two stolen bases, four RBI and six runs over 15 games on the year.
