3 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Joc Pederson (groin) is scheduled to get an MRI on his right groin on Thursday. The 30-year-old suffered a groin injury while running the bases during Wednesday's game against the Oakland Athletics. After the game, Giants manager Gabe Kapler said that a trip to the injured list could be in the cards for Pederson. Conversely, Pederson seemed a bit more hopeful that he could avoid a stint on the injured list. He said that he was walking around better on Wednesday after getting some treatment on his groin. Thursday's MRI should help clear things up so make sure to keep an eye out for the results.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
