3 years agoChicago White Sox closer Liam Hendriks (back) is dealing with some back tightness, according to White Sox manager Tony La Russa. He received treatment for the injury after Sunday's game against the Minnesota Twins. Hendriks earned the loss in Sunday's game. He pitched a clean ninth inning, but was shelled in the 10th inning of the game. He allowed a walk-off three-run home run to Byron Buxton. It seems likely that Hendriks will be given a few days to recover from his back injury, but we should have a better idea of the severity of the injury on Monday, when the White Sox are off.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
