Jon Gray Placed On Injured List With Knee Sprain
3 years agoThe Texas Rangers placed starting pitcher Jon Gray (knee) on the 10-day injured list due to a low-grade left knee sprain. The move is retroactive to April 20. In a corresponding move, the Rangers called up right-handed pitcher Glenn Otto from Triple-A and he will start Friday night's game against the Oakland Athletics. The Rangers are hopeful that Gray will only miss one start. The 30-year-old has made two starts so far this year and both have been a bit shaky. He's allowed a total of six hits, three walks and seven earned runs over nine innings to start the season.
