Ke'Bryan Hayes Goes 4-For-4 In Wednesday's Win
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes had a huge day at the plate in the team's 6-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. He went 4-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored. The 25-year-old is off to a great start to the 2022 season. Through five games, he's gone 9-for-18 while slugging .611. He's been toggled between the No. 3 spot in the lineup and the leadoff spot so far this season. He figures to remain a fixture at or near the top of the Pirates lineup throughout the year. Even though he doesn't have a very inspiring supporting cast, if he continues to make the type of contact he's making now, he should compile some strong season-long counting stats.
