San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford (wrist) is being held out of action for Wednesday's game against the San Diego Padres. Crawford suffered a wrist injury in Tuesday night's game and was forced to exit because of it, though it was reported that his removal was precautionary at the time. According to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle, Crawford's wrist is feeling better and he is considering himself day-to-day with the hope to return for the team's next game on Friday. Meanwhile, Mauricio Dubon is getting the start at shortstop and batting sixth in Wednesday's game.
