Robbie Grossman Exits With Groin Injury On Tuesday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Robbie Grossman (groin) was removed in the seventh inning of Tuesday's game against the Boston Red Sox due to right groin tightness. After the game, Tigers manager A.J. Hinch stated that he feared Grossman may have suffered a groin strain. The injury occurred when Grossman was running the base paths. Victor Reyes came on to replace Grossman in the game. Reyes would likely see a solid increase in playing time if Grossman were to miss time. It's been a slow start to the season so far for Grossman, who has gone just 1-for-17 with seven strikeouts over five games.
