3 years agoToronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen (side) is dealing with left side soreness, according to Jays manager Charlie Montoyo. He is set to have an MRI to help determine the nature and severity of the injury. Alejandro Kirk is getting the start at catcher and Zack Collins is serving as designated hitter for Monday night's game against the New York Yankees. Jansen started behind the plate in two of the team's first three games of the year. He went 4-for-8 with a pair of solo home runs across the two starts.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
