In the tenth inning, he sat on Opening Day but pinch-hit for Kyle Higashioka and hit a sacrifice fly to tie the game 5-5. The Yankees continue to have Isiah Kiner-Falefa handle shortstop duties for his defense, while DJ LeMahieu will alternate between second and third.
