Joan Adon Expected To Start On Saturday
3 years agoWashington Nationals right-handed pitcher Joan Adon is expected to start the team's third game of the season against the New York Mets on Saturday. Erick Fedde would follow him up as the team's starter on Sunday with Anibal Sanchez opening the team's second series of the year against the Atlanta Braves on Monday. Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reported the team's aforementioned intentions, explaining that Sanchez has a stiff neck after his flight north and needs a few days to recover. Adon made his MLB debut with the Nats last year. He only made one start and went 5 1/3 innings, allowing six hits, three walks and two earned runs while striking out nine.
