The countdown to Opening Day is on! At RotoBaller HQ, we have been grinding and preparing you for your upcoming fantasy drafts by providing daily content and rankings. Today we are back with our MLB team's early 2025 fantasy baseball outfield rankings and tiers for 5x5 mixed roto leagues. The outfield has a surplus of talent, but the pool can dry up quickly if your league requires you to start more than three outfielders.
Juan Soto signed the most valuable deal in MLB history this offseason. Soto agreed to a 15-year, $765 million contract with the New York Mets after slashing .288/.419/.569 with 41 homers and 109 RBI over 157 games last year. While Soto may be the highest-paid player in all of baseball, he is No. 2 in our outfield ranks behind former Yankees teammate Aaron Judge. The AL MVP slashed .322/.458/.701 with 58 home runs, 144 RBI, and 10 stolen bases across 158 games. If you miss out on the top tier, there are plenty of outfielders with upside that can be drafted later, such as Dylan Crews, Jasson Dominguez, Colton Cowser, and Garrett Mitchell, who could easily smash their current ADPs.
The outfielder rankings below are specifically designed for traditional 5x5 Roto Mixed Leagues (click here for points leagues, dynasty leagues, and prospect rankings).
