BALLER MOVE: Stash in Deeper Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: August
ANALYSIS: Minnesota Twins starting pitching prospect Zebby Matthews earned a promotion to Triple-A earlier in July and is quickly approaching his major league debut.
Matthews opened the season by getting his second look at High-A ball and logged a 1.59 ERA, 0.75 WHIP, and an eye-catching 0:28 BB:K ratio in 22 innings of work.
Then, the right-hander posted a dominant 1.95 ERA, 0.76 WHIP, and a near perfect 6:63 BB:K ratio across 55 innings at Double-A.
Through his first look at Triple-A, his stellar command has held strong with a 0:10 BB:K ratio. However, he has ran into a bit of trouble as he has served up six earned run across nine innings of work.

However, given how fast he has moved through the minor league ranks, Matthews could make his major league debut towards the end of the summer, especially since the Twins could be without Chris Paddack (elbow) for an extended period of time.
