BALLER MOVE: Start in PPR Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: Things got ugly for every pass catcher in the Baltimore Ravens offense in Week 3. Quarterback Lamar Jackson threw just 15 passes as their opponent, the Dallas Cowboys, was completely incapable of stopping the run. The Ravens were able to build up a big lead without throwing much at all.
Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers's terrible day was collateral damage as a result of this. Flowers was targeted only four times, catching three passes for 20 yards. He added one rush for three yards. This may be life for Flowers managers in games where opponents are unable to stop RB Derrick Henry.

The Ravens Week 4 opponent, the Buffalo Bills, has a better defense and should keep the game more competitive. It's doubtful that the Ravens will be able to run so much. The Bills have been clicking on offense, blowing out the Jacksonville Jaguars 47-10 in Week 3.
However, the Bills have a truly elite pass defense. They've allowed the fourth least PPR fantasy points to WRs in the league this year. Bills cornerback Christian Benford is having an All-Pro-type season. It might be hard for Flowers to get open much.
That being said, Flowers is often given jet sweeps, screens, and designed targets. He should be worth starting in PPR based on his potential for receptions alone. In standard leagues, he's probably a sit. Some defenses are scary this year. The Ravens may try to pass without much success.

The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically. Not every WR is like this, though, […]
