BALLER MOVE: Start in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: Solid RB1
ANALYSIS: With Jonathan Taylor ruled out for Saturday's game against the Steelers due to a thumb injury, Indianapolis Colts running back Zack Moss will lead the team's backfield in Week 15.
Moss struggled last week with Taylor sidelined, running the ball 13 times for 28 yards while adding four catches for 28 yards. Still, despite the poor performance, Moss has largely played well this season in games that Taylor has missed, even if he's finished near his floor in the past two contests.
In five games without Taylor in the lineup, Moss has averaged 19.6 carries for 71.8 yards per game, with 14.3 PPR points per game in those contests. The Colts have fed the ball to Moss and while games like last week have happened, he's mostly moved the ball well.
We can't just ignore the Week 14 stinker from Moss, but his projected volume in this one makes him a low-end RB1 option. It's hard to imagine a scenario where a fantasy manager wouldn't be starting Moss against a Steelers defense that's allowing 117.9 rushing yards per game this season, the 12th-most in the NFL in 2023.
