BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB2/RB3
ANALYSIS: Last season, Zack Moss impressed in a brief stint as the Indianapolis Colts lead back. He rushed for at least 70 yards in his first three games of 2023. Jonathan Taylor returned from the PUP list to face the Tennessee Titans in Week 5, but Moss still rushed 23 times for 165 yards and two touchdowns in that contest. This performance showed his upside.

Now, as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals, the 26-year-old is set to play in a premier offense. Second-year running back Chase Brown has been hyped up as a sleeper this year, but Moss was given the starter treatment in the preseason and did not log a snap.
At least to begin the year, he's expected to occupy the RB1 role. Assuming Ja'Marr Chase reaches an extension and plays in Week 1, the threat of him and Tee Higgins out wide could provide Moss with wide gaps and explosive rushing opportunities against the New England Patriots, who ranked as a middle-of-the-pack unit against fantasy running backs last season.
Even if Moss isn't efficient and struggles to find room, he will likely benefit from goal line carries in Joe Burrow's offense. It's always tough to predict running back workloads in Week 1, but based on what we know, Moss is a solid flex option in 12-plus team leagues.
