BALLER MOVE: Start
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: It is that bad. The fantasy football gods have decided that you will trot out Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz every week, and you will like it. He's the TE9 overall this season despite averaging just 8.0 PPR fantasy points per game. He's like water from a cactus in the gigantic desert that is the tight end landscape.

He's doing something. That's all you're allowed to ask for anyway these days. The Mark Andrews fantasy managers are jealous if that tells you anything about 2024. Ertz is trusted by QB Jayden Daniels and offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury and has consistently been part of the game plan since Week 1.
Ertz is averaging exactly four targets per game and has just under four catches per game. He has yet to score a touchdown, but remember, we can't ask for nice things from this position. It's mostly trick and no treat, and we haven't even reached Halloween yet.
Ertz's involvement in the offense seems pretty safe. The Commies drafted rookie tight end Ben Sinnott, but he hasn't been a factor yet outside of blocking. Lock Ertz into your starting lineups and accept your five points or whatever because it's a hell of a lot better than getting blanked.

Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 18? Jauan Jennings, Courtland Sutton, Michael Pittman Jr.
The wide receiver position has an advantage over the running back position in PPR scoring formats, typically. Receivers' main job of catching the football leads to them scoring more points per touch, and those WRs that consistently get high volume can produce great results with a strong floor. Not every WR is like this, though, […]
