Wyndham Clark put himself on the map with a breakthrough victory at last week's U.S. Open. Now, some of his fellow pros are letting the digs fly at the freshly-minted major champion.
Less than a week removed from his triumph at Los Angeles Country Club, Clark was paired with fellow PGA Tour pros Justin Thomas and Max Homa in the opening round of the Travelers Championship.
Thomas, a two-time major championship winner himself, wasted little time initiating Clark into the club with a hilarious NSFW dig during their round at TPC River Highlands.

What Did Justin Thomas Say To Wyndham Clark?
Playing their third hole of the Travelers Championship opening round, playing partners Thomas, Clark, and Homa all hit their tee shots in similar spots. First to play, Thomas hit his wedge shot to a tidy 10 feet from the hole. Before hitting his second shot, Clark asked Thomas to mark his ball with the inference being that it would possibly keep Clark's ball from going in the hole.
The confident request prompted a classic quip from JT. In a clip that's since been removed from social media, Thomas, a two-time major champion, was caught on a hot mic saying, "Guy wins one f------ U.S. Open and I gotta mark it from 80 yards!"
It should be noted that Thomas' instant-classic retort was said in a joking fashion. Cameras later showed the players, including Clark, and their caddies all having a good laugh as they walked to the green. While Clark might have made a huge splash with his U.S. Open win last week, JT certainly reminded him to stay humble and remember his place in pro golf's hierarchy.
After the round, Thomas took to social media to reassure golf fans that he was just having some fun with Clark. After bagging two PGA Tour wins in just over a month, it's a good bet that Clark will take the good-natured ribbing from JT in stride.
