DFS Lineup Stacks to Target on Yahoo
Oakland A's versus Martin Perez
The A's are in a great spot today, as they have right-handed bats throughout their lineup, and get a great matchup against Martin Perez. Perez has struggled in his career with a .282 batting average against right-handed hitters. He also has the lowest K/9 on the slate, which means the ball will be in play throughout the game. The A's are also slight favorites in a game set at 9.5 runs.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider on Yahoo
Johnny Cueto versus San Diego Padres
Cueto struggled a bit in his first game, but that was against a tough Arizona offense in a hitter friendly stadium. He gets a much better matchup against the Padres tonight, and Cueto is a -155 favorite in a game set at only 7.5 runs. He has the ability to pitch deep into games and he comes with a respectable K/9. Cueto is an elite option today.
Marco Estrada versus Tampa Bay Rays
Estrada is almost a mirror image of Cueto with a lower price tag. He struggled in his first game against the Orioles, but they have a great offense and he was playing in a hitter friendly stadium. He gets a much better matchup against the Rays tonight, and he'll be throwing in a pitcher friendly stadium. He also has a respectable K/9, and he's a -120 favorite in a game set at 8 runs. Estrada can be used in all leagues for his price.
DFS Infielders to Consider on Yahoo
Catcher (C) - Nick Hundley at SD ($8)
Hundley is expected to draw the start today against Clayton Richard. Hundley has an elite slugging percentage for a catcher, as it is the second highest on the slate. He has also played significantly better against lefties throughout his career.
First Base (1B) - Adam Lind at PHI ($10)
Lind gets an elite matchup against Jeremy Hellickson in a small stadium today. He will be hitting in the middle of an elite offense, and Lind has hit .287 against right-handed pitching in his career, as opposed to .215 against lefties. He makes a great option in all leagues for his price.
Second Base (2B) - Logan Forsythe at COL ($18)
The Dodgers prices have not caught up to their production or matchup in Coors. Forsythe is expected to lead off, and he has been an elite hitter against left-handed pitching. He can safely be used in all leagues.
Shortstop (SS) - Aledmys Diaz vs CIN ($18)
Diaz has gotten off to a hot start for the Cardinals, as he's hitting .304 with more than half of his hits going for extra-bases. He gets an elite matchup against Scott Feldman tonight, and Diaz can be used in all leagues.
Third Base (3B) - Ryon Healy at TEX ($17)
Healy is a big part of the A's offense, especially when they are playing left-handed pitchers. He gets a great matchup against Perez tonight, and Healy is a high upside option at third base.
DFS Outfielders to Consider on Yahoo
Franklin Gutierrez at COL ($14)
Gutierrez is a specialist against left-handed pitching, and he'll be hitting in a favorable spot in the lineup for the Dodgers today. He gets an elite matchup in Coors, and Gutierrez is entirely too cheap. Scott Van Slyke is also ridiculously priced here. They can be paired in all leagues.
Brandon Guyer at ARI ($9)
Guyer is another player that specializes against left-handed pitching. He gets a great matchup against Patrick Corbin in a hitter friendly stadium today. He also has elite 0.149 wOBA and 0.104 ISO differential against left-handed pitching.
