It's the final day of WNBA action before the All-Star break and we have two games on the docket. The Liberty visit the Sun for a morning meeting, while the Mystics and Lynx face off in the early afternoon. After that, we're done with WNBA games until Tuesday, aside from Saturday's All-Star Game.
In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/24/19. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

WNBA - DFS Guards
Courtney Williams (G, Connecticut Sun) – vs New York Liberty (DK: $7,700, FD: $6,100)
New York sports the WNBA's worst defense, allowing 83.2 points per game. They're the only team this year that's allowing at least 80 per contest. Williams has taken at least 10 shots in her last six games, but she's shooting just 31.5 percent from the field over that span, which has limited her ability to convert those attempts into points. That should change in this contest, as New York's backcourt shouldn't put too much pressure on her.
Marine Johannès (G, New York Liberty) – @ Connecticut Sun (DK: $5,200, FD: $5,000)
Asia Durr has missed the last three games, which just so happen to have been the first three games of Marine Johannès' NBA career. Durr's probable for Wednesday's game, but I still expect to see a good amount of Johannès, who has shown up big in her short WNBA career. Johannès is averaging 11.3 points on 75 percent shooting and while that high of a field goal percentage is bound to not hold up, she's taking and making good shots while also passing the ball well. At her price, she's worth the risk in a slate where you'll have to take risks to win.
WNBA - DFS Forwards
Sylvia Fowles (F, Minnesota Lynx) – vs Washington Mystics (DK: $10,300, FD: $8,000)
Washington's actually allowing the second-most points in the league over the past five games and the fourth-most rebounds and the most points in the paint, so yes, Sylvia Fowles. She's second in the WNBA in rebounds per game and Fowles is tied with Brittney Griner for the league lead in shots per game made in the restricted area. With how Washington's played defensively lately, Fowles should be in for a strong performance.
Alyssa Thomas (F, Connecticut Sun) – vs New York Liberty (DK: $9,300, FD: $7,800)
If we're playing matchups, then Alyssa Thomas against a Liberty team that hasn't really improved that much up front on defense with Amanda Zahui B's return to the lineup. Thomas hasn't been super consistent lately, but still like her chances against the Liberty since...well, since the Liberty are, as previously mentioned, the league's worst scoring defense. They've also allowed the fifth-most rebounds per game this season, and I can see Thomas getting another double-double like she did against the Mercury back on the 12th.
