After two days with no WNBA games, we're back with a three-game slate on Wednesday, with a noon game, an afternoon game, and a night game for you to enjoy.
In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/17/19. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

WNBA - DFS Guards
Leilani Mitchell (G, Phoenix Mercury) – vs Dallas Wings (DK: $7,200, FD: $5,900)
The Wings allow their opponents to shoot the second-highest three-point field goal percentage in the league, which is a good sign for Mitchell, who is shooting 40.3 percent from deep on 72 attempts this year. Diana Taurasi is back, but she's listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game, meaning Mitchell should get a full load of starter's minutes. Expect strong numbers from her in this one.
Arike Ogunbowale (G, Dallas Wings) – @ Phoenix Mercury (DK: $8,700, FD: $6,100)
Speaking of players who'll benefit from Taurasi being out, let's talk about Arike Ogunbowale. With Taurasi unlikely to suit up, the Mercury perimeter defense will remain susceptible to the outside shot, and Ogunbowale is big on the outside shot. She's big on any shot, really, and while her issues with shot selection have gotten her in some trouble, it's also given her a pretty high fantasy floor. She's also 6-for-9 from three over the last two games, and if Ogunbowale is starting to connect on a higher percentage of her shots, other teams are going to have to look out.
Renee Montgomery (G, Atlanta Dream) – @ Chicago Sky (DK: $6,100, FD: $5,000)
Another player who stands to benefit from her matchup, Montgomery faces a Chicago team that allows the second-most points in the WNBA. Montgomery has consistently had a big role in the Atlanta offense, but she's struggled to actually connect on those attempts and is shooting just 34.1 percent from the floor and 29.3 percent from deep. Not great, but I like her shot volume against a Sky team that's struggled to slow their opponents down. This is a good chance for Montgomery to really bounce back.

Brittney Griner (F, Phoenix Mercury) – vs Dallas Wings (DK: $10,800, FD: $8,400)
Of the higher-priced options in this slate, I like Griner against the Wings. Dallas is still missing some of their interior depth, the Mercury will likely be without Diana Taurasi, and will be looking to bounce back after putting up just 11 points and five rebounds the last time these teams met. She's had a couple of disappointing efforts in a row, but an engaged Brittney Griner is capable of carrying a DFS lineup. Dallas has also allowed the fifth-most points in the paint over the last three games.
Napheesa Collier (F, Minnesota Lynx) – vs Seattle Storm (DK: $9,000, FD: $6,800)
I like to back my picks up with player and team-based statistics that help explain why I like a player, but I'm going to go a little off that path here. All-Star rosters were just announced and Collier was nowhere to be found. This is her first game since that announcement and it feels like we're heading a big post-snub game from the rookie.
(Okay, want some statistical reasons to play her? Injuries have caused Collier to take on a larger role with this team and she's scored in double figures in three of her last four games. She has 19 rebounds in her past two games. Collier had 17 points the last time these teams met.)
Jantel Lavender (F, Chicago Sky) – vs Atlanta Dream (DK: $6,900, FD: $5,600)
Lavender -- Chicago's best rebounder -- has been on fire lately, and a matchup against an Atlanta team that allows more rebounds per game than any other team offers her a good chance to keep the good times rolling. Lavender has also scored in double figures in four of her last five games, and she's been an incredibly important piece for the Sky. Expect her see plenty of work inside in this one.
