BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: After years of injury issues, Wilson Ramos finally logged a full season in 2015 and was one of the worst hitters in baseball. Last year, he bounced back for the best performance of his career, hitting .307/.354/.496 with 22 home runs and 80 RBI. Naturally, just before the season ended, he tore his ACL. The Rays signed him as a free agent knowing full well he'd miss the first half of this season, and plenty of fantasy owners followed suit, drafting him as an injury stash. Given the amount of disabled list stints in MLB this year, it's a good bet that whoever did this in your league had to cut him loose before he got healthy. If that's the case, Ramos is worth an add for owners in need of an upgrade at fantasy's worst position.
The 29-year-old hasn't looked too rusty since his return, hitting .244 with three homers and 17 R+RBI in just 12 games. The average should come up; he's making a ton of hard contact so far but has a .222 BABIP to show for his efforts. Health is always the big question for Ramos, but if he can stay on the field, there aren't many catchers with higher upside.
