BALLER MOVE: Add In Standard Leagues
OWNED IN: 37% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Now in his 11th professional season, swingman Wilson Chandler has seen some worrying traits early on this season. Taking just eight shots per game, he’s seeing a career low in the category. The past week, however, Chandler has been more aggressive, which has resulted in an average of 16.6 points per game in three matchups against the Eastern Conference. The 30-year-old has looked more at ease with his shot, even shooting a season-high nine three-pointers from the field on Sunday, when his 16 field goal attempts were also a season high.
One factor that particularly stands out as promising is the fact that Chandler is starting at the Small Forward position again after coming off the bench last year. He’s consistently seeing 30 minutes per game, and with his recent surge in shots and scoring, he could very well be on his way to reaching his usual career stats. Considering his 37% ownership, fantasy users can be patient in their pursuit of the three-position player, as his numbers should be monitored in the coming week to find out whether he truly is on the comeback trail. Upcoming games against the Pelicans, Thunder and Timberwolves could prove the key to adding Chandler, a flexible player who can fill multiple slots on fantasy rosters.
