BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Mixed Leagues, NL-Only Leagues
OWNED IN: 7% Fleaflicker
ANALYSIS: Wilmer Flores doesn’t play every day, but he’s eligible at every infield position save catcher and provides plenty of pop when he does see the field. Despite logging only 50 at-bats in July, the 24-year-old Swiss Army knife has hit seven bombs. That production has helped the Mets remain in the driver’s seat for one of the NL wild-card spots and kept them within striking distance of the Nationals in the East. Flores’ limited playing time makes him a high-maintenance asset and a player who’s tough to roster in shallower leagues, but that’s par for course in single-digit ownership rate territory.
