New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson suffered a major injury in his rookie season but could be a hot name in 2023 fantasy drafts depending on how his injury progresses. The 22-year-old second-rounder was a bright spot for the team in 2022 before his season-ending injury in Week 11, and he finished his first year in the NFL with 23 catches on 31 targets for 227 yards and one touchdown in six games played.
In the game in which he got injured, he caught nine of his 13 targets for 100 yards and looked to be primed to enter the fantasy football radar. Obviously, we'll never know how the rest of the season could've gone for Robinson, but we did see a big game with real fantasy upside before he became sidelined
Will Robinson be ready to go for Week 1, and what is his 2023 fantasy football outlook? We've got it covered.

Wan'Dale Robinson Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Robinson (knee) said he plans on being ready to go for Week 1 of the 2023 season. Robinson suffered a pretty clean tear of the ACL in his right knee in his rookie season and also had a slight meniscus cleanup. His prognosis is positive and he's expected to ditch his one crutch this upcoming week.
While his latest update is good news, it's far too early to know if he'll actually be ready to go right away in his sophomore season, so it'll be worth monitoring all offseason. He should have plenty of opportunity for targets and touches in what could be a weak group of offensive weapons once again next season.
Wan'Dale Robinson 2023 Fantasy Outlook
Robinson might become a trendy sleeper selection in 2023 fantasy drafts, as his price is going to be cheap, especially given the injury concerns. However, it's tough to know exactly how to value him before free agency and the 2023 NFL Draft take place. In fact, we don't even know if Daniel Jones, Saquon Barkley, or Sterling Shepard will be on the team in 2023.
Either way, Robinson should be a fixture in the Giants' lineup at the slot receiver position. If the Giants add wide receiver help, it'll surely be at the outside positions given the weaknesses on the offense. Richie James and Robinson combined for 101 targets and both played primarily in the slot in 2022. That said, a new quarterback could be less likely to target slot wideouts.
So while it's tough to build projections for Robinson just yet, he's definitely someone to monitor heading into 2023. We've seen him produce two fantasy-friendly games in just six games played his rookie season, and it's unlikely the Giants can add enough firepower in one offseason to make him fall completely off the fantasy radar.
