Dallas Cowboys’ running back Tony Pollard strung together his first career fantasy RB1 season in 2022 despite splitting the rushing workload with Ezekiel Elliott all season long.
The fifth-year running back out of Memphis carried the ball 193 times for 1,007 yards and nine touchdowns in the regular season and added 39 catches for 371 yards and three touchdowns.
Pollard exited the Divisional Round loss against San Francisco early after fracturing his fibula. Will Pollard be back in action by Week 1 of 2023?

Tony Pollard Injury News
Pollard underwent surgery on Tuesday to fix up his right ankle sprain.
The fibula injury will heal on its own and will not require a surgery or casting.
Similar injuries typically mean a 10-12 week recovery timeline, meaning Pollard will likely be ready to return to action in May.
Will Tony Pollard Return by Week 1 of the 2023 Season?
The Pro Bowler is expected to be back in action by training camp, taking the offseason to heal up from his ankle surgery and broken fibula. However, Pollard may not be a Dallas Cowboy the next time he takes the field.
Pollard is a part of a loaded group of upcoming free agent running backs come March, headlined by Saquon Barkley and Josh Jacobs.
The NFL’s running back landscape is bound to shake up with all of the names floating around in free agency, along with incoming rookie talents such as Bijan Robinson, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Sean Tucker.
While Pollard should be ready to go by Week 1 next year, he may not do so as a Dallas Cowboy.
