The Green Bay Packers receiving room has been a hot debate in fantasy football land this offseason. With four capable young receivers along with two tight ends, who will see the most consistent target share in this high-powered offense?
After bursting onto the scene in the playoffs with 10 catches for 234 yards and a touchdown in two games, Romeo Doubs is a contender to take a step forward and potentially lead this Packers’ aerial attack.
Doubs was drafted in the later rounds this season, making him a strong sleeper pick. However, the third-year receiver has been limited in practice leading up to Friday’s game with a hand injury.

Will Romeo Doubs Play In Week 1?
Doubs was limited in practice on Wednesday and would have been limited on Tuesday had the Packers held a formal practice. He is considered day-to-day with a hand injury that has been impacting his practice availability.
While we cannot say with 100% certainty that Doubs will play in Week 1, the hand injury doesn’t look like it will affect his availability. Since he has been able to practice, Doubs will likely suit up on Friday. The injury appears to be of low severity given that he is still catching in practice.

Romeo Doubs 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Doubs will compete with teammates Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, Dontayvion Wicks, Luke Musgrave, and Tucker Kraft for targets. Running back Josh Jacobs will also see plenty of touches in the Green Bay offense, giving quarterback Jordan Love a plethora of weapons.
Ultimately, the "winner" from this group is likely just the player who remains healthy. Until we see an injury, Love will likely spread the ball around without zeroing in on a specific target.
With that being said, Doubs is a good bet to pay off at ADP. The third-year receiver has reportedly looked great all camp and has continued to develop a special connection with his quarterback. He is also the top contender to soak up valuable red-zone targets and could lead this team in receiving touchdowns this year.
