Green Bay Packers wide receiver has been a fixture for the organization catching passes from Aaron Rodgers for 10 seasons, but his time in the NFL could be coming to an end. At this point in his career, he's nothing more than a solid depth receiver and doesn't have the explosiveness he once possessed.
Rodgers' future could impact Cobb's so both developments will be worth watching this offseason.
How did Cobb perform in 2022 and will he retire this offseason? Let's dive in.

Randall Cobb 2022 Season Review
In 13 games, Cobb caught 34 of his 50 targets for 417 yards and one touchdown. His best game came in Week 5 against the Giants, as he hauled in seven of 13 targets for 99 yards. However, he cooled off late in the season, failing to exceed 32 receiving yards from Week 12 to Week 18.
Ultimately, it wasn't a porous campaign for a 32-year-old wideout, but he has clearly lost a step from when he was producing 800-plus yard seasons regularly.
Will Randall Cobb Retire this Offseason?
Right after the Packers' Week 18 loss to the Detroit Lions that eliminated them from playoff contention, Cobb said he doesn't know if he'll retire, but did share an embrace with his longtime teammate Rodgers.
“We just kind of had a moment and took it all in," Cobb said. "I remember after my first-ever football game here in Green Bay, us walking off the field together and it was a special feeling. This one felt a little different.”
That led to plenty of speculation on the future of both players. If Rodgers leaves Green Bay or retires, that could push Cobb to retire, but for now, there's no concrete answer. Either way, there's a low chance Cobb is ever a significant factor for any offense if he decides to continue his playing career.
