The Los Angeles Chargers' best wide receiver right now is Ladd McConkey. So far on the season, the rookie from Georgia has 19 receptions for 219 yards and two touchdowns through five games.
Head coach Jim Harbaugh has maintained a run-heavy approach thus far, and the team's defense has been one of the best units in the league. Nonetheless, the team still needs to pass the ball, and we know that quarterback Justin Herbert is talented.
McConkey is dealing with a hip injury listed and was listed as questionable on the team's injury report heading into Monday Night Football. So, will McConkey play tonight?

Ladd McConkey Fantasy Football Injury Update
UPDATE: McConkey is officially ACTIVE
Fellow teammate Quentin Johnston is listed as doubtful for MNF, and the Chargers don't have many other options right now.
McConkey suffered a head injury during the team's Week 6 win over the Denver Broncos and then sustained a separate hip injury during practice. He was listed as a limited participant all week.

The sportsbooks seem to suggest that McConkey will be suiting up for Week 7, and he has the highest receiving prop of any Chargers wide receiver for their Week 7 game on Monday Night Football against the Arizona Cardinals.

26.9% Target Share
29.6 Target Rate— McConkeyMuse (@McConkeyMuse) October 20, 2024
He is quarterback Justin Herbert's primary target thus far and we know that the Cardinals have one of the worst defenses in the entire NFL. Arizona has allowed 10 passing touchdowns as well as the ninth-most passing yards in the NFL so far in the 2024 season.
Herbert had his best game of the season in Week 6, throwing for 237 passing yards to go along with one passing touchdown.
There's no question that the Chargers' passing attack is still a bit rusty, but if you've been saving McConkey for MNF and don't have many other options out there, he feels like a mid-range WR3 with upside for Week 7.
Per Derek Brown of FantasyPros, Arizona has allowed the seventh-most PPR points per target to slot receivers in 2024. McConkey is projected to run about 70% of his routes against Garrett Williams (61.1% catch rate and 69.4 passer rating), and the matchup bodes well in his favor.
