Denver Broncos' second-year tight end Greg Dulcich is one of the latest names to garner OTA coach-talk hype. While Sean Payton did make a move to bring in Adam Trautman, who he drafted and coached in New Orleans, Dulcich has been on the receiving end of early hype.
The UCLA product hauled in 77 receptions for 1,353 yards and 11 touchdowns over the course of his college career and was selected in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
He played in only 10 games as a rookie due to injury, but the potential and early-career impact is hard to ignore. Could Dulcich take on a full-time role in 2023 for Denver?

How Did Greg Dulcich Perform In 2022?
While Dulcich did only play in 10 games, he grabbed 33 catches for 411 yards and two touchdowns in his rookie season. Those numbers were good for the 29th-ranked fantasy tight end in total points and a 17th overall finish in points per game at the tight end position.
He caught a touchdown in his NFL debut in Week 6 against the Chargers, immediately showcasing his potential. Over his last four starts of the season, Dulcich averaged 6.5 targets per game. He showcased the ability to demand targets, which is not easy for a rookie tight end.
In a receiver room that has a lot of question marks and injury history, the chance to earn targets is wide open in 2023.
Will Greg Dulcich Have An Expanded Role In 2023?
While Dulcich was the starter when on the field in 2022, Eric Saubert and Eric Tomlinson also mixed in at times. Both of those players are no longer on the roster and while Trautman will see some time in two tight end sets, it is expected that Dulcich will be the full-time starter.
With Russell Wilson playing as poorly as he did in 2022, there is nowhere to go but up. With elevated play from his quarterback, Dulcich has extreme upside. He could be a very consistent fantasy piece this season, and if you are waiting until the later rounds to grab a tight end he is a great choice currently going as the fifteenth tight end off the boards.
