New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams (illness/wrist) hasn't been the fantasy asset managers were hoping for when they drafted him early in 2024 drafts. He's been a roller coaster ride despite having been traded to the New York Jets and paired with quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The Jets have been absolutely dreadful on offense this season, and in Adams' four games with his new team, he's scored double-digit PPR fantasy points just once. NY was shockingly blown out by the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10, and the former Las Vegas Raider managed just six catches for 31 yards on a whopping 13 targets.
He's also dealt with some injury issues this past week. So will he play today and what is the impact of his injury for fantasy? Let's dive in.

Davante Adams Fantasy Football Injury Update
The (former) superstar wideout is expected to play today despite dealing with an illness and a wrist injury. He was announced to be expected to take the field on Friday, meaning there's little doubt that he will become a surprise inactive without an unexpected development.

Davante Adams Fantasy Football Injury Impact
It's not known how this will affect his play or if it will affect him at all. We could see a limited workload, but we don't have enough information to speculate whether that will happen. His ailments could simply be routine things he plays through or rest-related to give him some time off practice. His wrist issue was described as "soreness."

He's 31 years old and is in his 11th season in the NFL. A lifetime of football leads to tons of injuries, many of which can linger for a lifetime. These seem minor, though, and shouldn't affect fantasy managers' decisions to start or sit him. He'll face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11 as well, and they aren't very good at slowing down opposing receivers.
