Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp is now a 31-year-old on a 2-4 team that's been decimated by injuries and has a 36-year-old quarterback. Teams in situations like this tend to want to trade players away, so it's no surprise that the All-Pro has been the subject of swirling trade rumors in recent days.
He's a fantastic receiver when healthy, and was one of the best in the league just a few short years ago, but injuries and age come for every NFL player and can have a massive impact on production and future outlook. The Rams know this, and they may value a draft pick more than continuing to have Kupp.
So will Cooper Kupp be traded this season? What are his top landing spots?

Will Cooper Kupp Be Traded This Season?
Los Angeles has expressed interest in trading its former triple crown winner. It already had discussions with teams about the workings of a potential trade. It was reported that the Kansas City Chiefs had talks with the Rams, though they eventually settled on acquiring DeAndre Hopkins instead.
The Rams and the the Chiefs discussed Cooper Kupp, but the Super Bowl champs needed to trade with a team that was willing to take on a large chunk of the salary and didn’t want to give up high picks. Tennessee is the team willing to play ball.

Ultimately, the deciding factor will likely be the compensation the Rams demand. A second-round pick is too steep for most teams, even if they wouldn't have to pay all of his salary. The NFL stands for the National Football League, but for many players, it may as well stand for "Not For Long." It's unlikely that No. 10 has much time left in his career.

The price seems rich, so if his current team isn't willing to come down on it, it seems like a long shot.
Cooper Kupp Top Potential Landing Spots
With the Chiefs having already traded for a receiver, they're likely out of the mix.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been connected to trade talks, and they're considered one of the likeliest teams to land him. Los Angeles has reportedly expressed willingness to take on some of his salary, which could help with the lack of cap space Pittsburgh has. It would strain its finances, though.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are perhaps the team that Kupp makes the most sense on. They just lost WR Chris Godwin to a season-ending ankle injury, and Bucs offensive coordinator Liam Coen previously served as the OC under Rams head coach Sean McVay. He would fit perfectly into the "Cooper Kupp Role" that Coen had Godwin filling.
The Bucs have to be in on this Cooper Kupp saga, right? Familiar offensive coordinator, familiar QB, and plays the same role as Godwin did in this offense. A big decision for @jasonrlicht but if we want to compete we must consider it. I’d honestly love to see it!#Bucs

The San Francisco 49ers have a ton of cap space and just lost Brandon Aiyuk to a season-ending knee injury, so they make a ton of sense as a landing spot for No. 10. However, it's doubtful that a team would want to trade one of its best players to a divisional opponent.
