Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk signed a monster four-year, $72 million deal in the 2022 offseason, resetting the wide receiver market and bearing skepticism.
Kirk put the critics to sleep with career-highs in all receiving metrics as the go-to target for emerging second-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Kirk grabbed 84 receptions for 1,108 yards and eight touchdowns, finishing the season as a fantasy WR1.
The sixth-year receiver ended the season suffering a knee injury in the playoff loss to Kansas City. He returned to the game and caught a five-yard reception that led to a field goal to cut the lead to seven points.

Christian Kirk Injury News
Christian Kirk did not suffer any structural damage to his knee, although he did state that it “is not feeling great.”
With time to rest and no structural damage suffered, Kirk is expected to be full-go by summer camps.
Will Christian Kirk Return By Week 1?
The Jacksonville receiver will be back in action by Week 1 of the 2023 season, although the receiving corps for the Jaguars will be even more stacked.
Former Falcons WR Calvin Ridley, who was acquired by Jacksonville at the trade deadline, is expected to be reinstated for the 2023 season.
Although Ridley has not played an NFL game since Week 7 of the 2021 season, he was one of the top receivers in the league and is still 28-years-old. If Ridley builds a rapport with Lawrence, he could surpass Kirk as the go-to target in the Jacksonville offense.
Trevor Lawrence will likely take another step forward in year 3 and the entire Jacksonville Jaguars offense should be prime candidates for the 2023 fantasy season.
