Welcome to Week 10 in the NFL. We’re coming into this week hot, as four of last week’s five receiver picks for this column finished with greater than a 2.0 multiplier (DK points per $1,000 in salary), including the number two receiver on the week, Tank Dell. Three receivers ranked in the weekly top ten at the position for the first time this season, Noah Brown (WR3), Diontae Johnson (tied for WR5), and Odell Beckham Jr. (tied for WR10).
Week 10 brings bye weeks for prominent fantasy teams like the Chiefs and Eagles, along with injuries to key receivers including Nico Collins and Tee Higgins. There is still value to be found this week, with three matchups at or above 45-point totals according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
Each week we use matchup data from PFF to determine wide receivers to target based on who they will be primarily lining up against that week. Below are five of the top WR vs. CB matchups for this week’s DFS main slate. Use these to set season-long lineups, make player prop picks, and gain an edge in DFS.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
$8,300 on DraftKings, $8,300 on FanDuel; vs. Ja'Sir Taylor
As the fifth-priced receiver on the main slate and the projected WR2 in FantasyPros Expert Consensus Rankings, Amon-Ra St. Brown is the high-priced receiver to target this week in DFS. The 24-year-old has one of the highest floors among receivers this year, finishing in the top 15 receivers in six of his seven appearances with two top-five WR performances in 2023.
St. Brown has the third-best overall receiver matchup on the week according to PFF. His 83.6 offensive grade towers over the 56.4 defensive grade of his projected primary cover man, Chargers slot corner Ja’Sir Taylor. St. Brown is averaging 8.1 catches, 11.1 targets, 95 receiving yards, and 0.4 TDs per game so far this season.
With RB David Montgomery back in the lineup and the Lions projected to continue their run-first approach this week, the Chargers will be forced to stay honest in base and nickel defensive alignments. St. Brown is a surefire pick for cash games this week.
DeAndre Hopkins, Tennessee Titans
$6,000 on DraftKings, $7,100 on FanDuel; vs. Jamel Dean
Hopkins is enjoying a nice resurgence with QB Will Levis that included a 128-yard, three-touchdown performance in Levis’ first start in Week 8, his first touchdowns with Tennessee.
The Titans have a matchup with the Buccaneers on Sunday, PFF’s top matchup for receivers this week. Hopkins’ individual matchups are showing the second-best matchup advantage of any receiver (86 grade), behind only CeeDee Lamb.
The Buccaneers play zone coverage on 77% of snaps (13th most). Hopkins far outpaces his teammates against zone coverage, with almost double the receptions of the next closest receiver and a 23.5% target rate according to PFF. The 31-year-old is the 16th most expensive receiver on the DK main slate despite top-eight upside. Hopkins is a great play in both cash and GPP in Week 10.
Tank Dell, Houston Texans
$5,500 on DraftKings, $6,400 on FanDuel; vs. DJ Turner II
We’re going right back to Dell this week after a six-catch, 112-yard, and two-touchdown performance last week against Tampa Bay. With the Texans missing fellow receivers Nico Collins and Robert Woods this week, the rookie is much too cheap this week for his top-12 upside.
Dell lines up evenly across the formation for the Texans and has been a true field-stretcher for QB C.J. Stroud, ranking eighth among all receivers this season in average depth of target (14.2) and yards per reception (16.2).
Houston faces off with Cincinnati this week, a team that plays man coverage at the 11th-highest rate. Dell has delivered top-10 fantasy points per route run against man coverage. Don't overthink it with Dell this week.

Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers
$5,400 on DraftKings, $7,000 on FanDuel; vs. Carrington Valentine
After missing five games to a hamstring injury this year, Johnson has shown an impressive floor with three straight top-24 performances at the WR position. His big play ability was also on display in Week 9, tallying seven catches, 90 yards, and a touchdown against the Titans.
Johnson has the eighth-best individual matchup advantage this week against the Packers according to PFF, including a strong matchup advantage over CB Carrington Valentine (offensive grade of 81 vs. defensive grade of 65). Johnson has also proven to be efficient with his production this season, boasting the ninth-best yards per route run among receivers (2.42).
As the 24th-priced receiver on the main slate this week, Johnson has the upside to far surpass his cost on Sunday.
Marquise Brown, Arizona Cardinals
$5,200 on DraftKings, $6,600 on FanDuel; vs. A.J. Terrell
Brown enters Week 10 as the WR27 in PPR scoring, having yet to crack the top-12 at receiver in any week this year for the lowly Cardinals. He will have his best shot to accomplish that this week with QB Kyler Murray back under center, in a matchup against the Falcons that ranks as the 11th-easiest for receivers this week according to PFF.
In eight games with Murray as his quarterback, Brown has averaged 6.6 receptions for 70.6 receiving yards and 0.4 touchdowns, a 16.6 PPR point average that would give him a 3.1 multiplier (points per $1,000 in salary) this week. That would have been good enough for WR10 last week.
Now is your chance to capitalize on a discounted salary for Brown, particularly in GPP contests.
