The tight-end position is difficult for fantasy managers to get consistent production from. Often, there are only a handful of TEs worth starting in any given week, and managers are forced to deal with duds constantly.
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers, Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo, and Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts are three options you could roll with in Week 16.
Let's break down whether each is a good option to start for what is the second round of the fantasy playoffs for many leagues.
Should I Start Brock Bowers for Fantasy Football?
Yes. He's elite, and quarterback Desmond Ridder didn't throw the ball to him enough, but the Raiders QB1 should be back in action on Sunday. Aidan O'Connell (knee) chucks the ball to the rookie TE early and often in games, and he could still end up being a league winner these last few games.

Seriously, why would you bench him? Just don't think about it, he's a must-start.
Should I Start Chig Okonkwo for Fantasy Football?
Thanks to the quarterback change in Tennessee, we have no idea what will happen with Okonkwo in Week 16. Great! Still, at least we can look at Weeks 7-9, which Rudolph started. Okonkwo scored 9.0, 1.4, and 6.8 PPR fantasy points in those games. So, his ceiling seems pretty low, and his floor even lower.

— PFF Fantasy & Betting (@PFF_Fantasy) September 8, 2024
The tape tells us he's a talented tight end. The numbers tell us he needs to get the ball more, but it just hasn't happened yet. The Titans are a team in disarray, bound to miss the playoffs. Okonkwo has seen a gradual uptick in snaps for the past few games as compared to earlier in the season.
But it's just too tough to predict how much he'll get the ball. So, he's an option in very deep leagues.
Should I Start Kyle Pitts for Fantasy Football?
If you drafted him early in 2024 fantasy football drafts, you may not have any better options. The Falcons also just benched their starting quarterback, Kirk Cousins, for rookie Michael Penix Jr. He gets a great matchup against the New York Giants, who are likely tanking for a high pick in the 2025 draft to get their QB of the future.

The author of this piece is very high on Penix because he was elite at Washington and was a massive talent elevator. But we don't like Pitts quite as much. He's worth starting if you don't have any better options, and most teams don't anyway. You rolled with him this long, why not see what MPJr can do?
