The San Francisco 49ers have been the top team in the NFC over the past few seasons. They made the NFC Championship Game two years ago. Unfortunately, injuries at the quarterback position kept them from making the Super Bowl.
However, the team was healthy during last season’s NFC Championship game, defeating the Detroit Lions 34-31. The 49ers made the Super Bowl for the second time in the past five years. Unfortunately, they couldn’t hold onto a double-digit lead and lost to the Kansas City Chiefs 25-22.

Who Do The San Francisco 49ers Play At Home Next Season?
The NFC teams will get the extra home game in 2024, meaning San Francisco will face nine opponents at Levi’s Stadium next season. They have home matchups against their NFC West rivals – the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, and Seattle Seahawks. Last year, the 49ers went 5-1 at home against their division rivals, with the lone loss coming in a meaningless Week 18 matchup against Los Angeles.
San Francisco will also face the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, New York Jets, New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, and Dallas Cowboys at home next season. Many of those matchups will be appealing to fans. However, the Super Bowl rematch against Kansas City could be the most-watched regular-season game. The 49ers will want revenge after watching the Chiefs win their second consecutive Super Bowl earlier this month.

Who Do The San Francisco 49ers Play On The Road Next Season?
Last year, San Francisco had a 7-2 record on the road, including 3-0 against the NFC West. Last season was the second consecutive year the 49ers swept their divisional rivals on the road. The team hopes to make it three straight in 2024.
San Francisco will also travel to face the Green Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers next season. While many will point to the matchup against the Bills, the 49ers should be worried about taking on the Packers.
Jordan Love is a star in the making. San Francisco barely got the playoff win over Green Bay after the young quarterback threw a game-ending interception. Love and the Packers will be determined to get revenge next year.
