Who Do The Dallas Cowboys Play Next Season? List Of Dallas' 2024 Opponents

Dallas Cowboys Defense D/ST Streamers, Rankings, Waiver Wire - Micah Parsons Fantasy Football IDP

The Dallas Cowboys ended the 2023-24 season in disappointment, getting blown out in the Wild Card game of the playoffs after going 12-5.

Heading into the 2024-25 season, the pressure is on. If Mike McCarthy is unable to make a Super Bowl push for the fifth straight season, he might be on his way out.

Will the Cowboys be able to repeat as NFC East division champions? Who do the Cowboys face in 2024? Let's look at their schedule and consider their prospects.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2024:

Who Do the Dallas Cowboys Face in 2024?

The Dallas Cowboys will play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Cincinnati Bengals, and Baltimore Ravens in addition to their usual division opponents in the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, and New York Giants.

They will have road games against the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons, and Carolina Panthers in addition to their division rivals.

The Cowboys have historically done well at home. They went 8-0 in Arlington this past year. But their home schedule this coming year is quite difficult. The Lions and Texans are both trendy Super Bowl picks.

How Difficult is the Cowboys' 2024 Schedule?

The Cowboys face a somewhat difficult schedule. They face a couple of playoff teams that made deep runs, including the Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, and Baltimore Ravens. Overall, nine of their opponents made the playoffs last year, and some of their upcoming opponents that missed the playoffs, like the Bengals, are expected to be playoff contenders in 2024.

If you combine the records of their opponents, an imperfect metric, the Cowboys' 2024 opponents went .505 in 2023. By that measure, the Cowboys' 2024 schedule is slightly more difficult than the average team.

The NFC East is no breeze. The Eagles are just one year removed from an NFC title. The Giants made the playoffs two years ago and could be good if Daniel Jones has a revival.
