Tennessee Titans wide receiver Robert Woods caught 53 of his 91 targets for 527 yards and two touchdowns in his first season with the Tennessee Titans. It was a solid season coming off an ACL tear with three different quarterbacks running the Tennessee offense.
However, it looks like Woods will look to find a new home in 2023.
Is Woods a free agent and which teams could be interested in signing him this offseason?

Is Robert Woods A Free Agent?
The Tennessee Titans released wide receiver Robert Woods on Wednesday. Moving on from Woods will save the Titans around $12 million in salary cap space in 2023. The 30-year-old veteran came over from the Los Angeles Rams last season and disappointed from an overall stats perspective.
Woods' 9.9 yard-per-reception mark was the lowest in his career, and while a change of scenery could help him bounce back, we've probably already seen the best of Woods in the NFL.
That said, he still belongs on an NFL roster and will have a market for his services. Since he was released instead of being scheduled to be a free agent, he's free to sign before free agency begins.
Which Team Will Sign Robert Woods?
While Woods might not be a dynamic playmaker anymore, he could carve out a nice role as a third-down possession receiver operating out of the slot. There are plenty of NFL teams who could use a reliable veteran presence in their wide receiver room, so the possibilities are endless.
However, a reunion with the Buffalo Bills or Los Angeles Rams makes a ton of sense. Buffalo needs to add wide receiver help, and Woods could fill in at the role Cole Beasley excelled in during Josh Allen's breakout season. The Rams are sure to add to its offense in 2023 and could bring back Woods at a much-reduced salary this time around.
Elsewhere, the Chicago Bears or any team planning on selecting a rookie quarterback would be a good fit. Woods could serve as a young signal-caller's best friend and safety blanket in the middle of the field, so pairing him with Justin Fields, Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Will Levis, or Anthony Richardson would be a savvy move.
If Woods is purely looking to contend for a Super Bowl ring; Kansas City, Philadelphia, Dallas, or Los Angeles Chargers are possible destinations.
