The 2023 NFL Draft kicked off last night. There was no surprise with the first overall pick, as the Carolina Panthers selected Bryce Young.
After months of rumors and debate, the Houston Texans drafted C.J. Stroud with the second overall pick last night. Then they acquired the third overall pick and drafted Will Anderson.
While Will Levis was the betting favorite to land in Indianapolis, the Colts surprised everyone when they drafted Anthony Richardson. Unfortunately, Levis didn’t get drafted in the first round. However, he should be an early second-round selection.

Which Team Could Pick Will Levis On Day 2 Of The NFL Draft?
Everyone was surprised when the Colts passed on Levis. There were several potential other landing spots. Yet, everyone passed on the quarterback. However, Levis shouldn’t have to wait long to hear his name called tonight. Reportedly, several teams want to trade up for the quarterback, with the Tennessee Titans being the most likely to make a move.
Who Are The Other Top Remaining Offensive Skilled Players?
There are several talented players still on the board heading into the second round. The top remaining running back is Zach Charbonnet. Meanwhile, the top remaining wide receiver is Jalin Hyatt, while the top remaining tight end is Michael Mayer.
After two running backs got drafted in the top 12 last night, Charbonnet might have to wait a while to hear his name called. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (50th), Miami Dolphins (51st), and Dallas Cowboys (59th) are all potential landing spots. However, the best landing spot is the Cowboys, as Charbonnet would be an excellent replacement for Ezekiel Elliott.
Last night we saw four wide receivers come off the board from pick 20 through pick 23. Yet, Hyatt shouldn't have a long wait tonight. The Los Angeles Rams (36th), Carolina Panthers (39th), and New Orleans Saints (40th) are all potential landing spots. However, the best landing spot is the Panthers. They have Adam Thielen as their No. 1 wide receiver, but Young needs a wide receiver to develop with over the next few years.
While everyone thought there could be as many as four first-round tight ends, Dalton Kincaid was the only one drafted. However, Mayer could hear his name called early in the second round. The Detroit Lions (34th), Las Vegas Raiders (38th), and Green Bay Packers (42nd) are all potential landing spots. All three are outstanding options, but the Packers are the best spot. The team has no starting tight end on the roster, and Jordan Love needs all the help Green Bay can get him.
