The 2023 NFL Draft is only two days away, and everyone is excited. Everyone knows the Carolina Panthers will take Alabama’s Bryce Young with the first overall pick after their blockbuster trade with the Chicago Bears last month.
However, where will the other first-round quarterbacks land? Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud and Kentucky’s Will Levis will likely be top-five picks. Meanwhile, Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker will be a mid-to-late first-round pick.
Unfortunately, Florida’s Anthony Richardson has arguably one of the biggest draft ranges. Some believe he is an elite prospect, while others are concerned with his lack of college experience.

What Did Anthony Richardson Accomplish In College?
Richardson barely saw the field over his first two years at Florida. The former Gator completed only 59.1% of his 66 pass attempts for 556 yards and seven touchdowns in 10 games in 2020 and 2021. He also had 58 rushing attempts for 462 yards and three touchdowns during those two years.
However, things changed last season. Richardson completed 53.8% of his 327 pass attempts for 2,549 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also had nine interceptions in 12 games. More importantly, the former Gator had 103 rushing attempts for 654 yards and nine touchdowns last season.
Some scouts are worried about Richardson’s passing ability in his career. However, no one can doubt the former Gator’s ability in the running game. Last year he had several highlight runs.
Which Team Could Pick Anthony Richardson In The 2023 NFL Draft?
Richardson was a dark horse candidate to be the first overall pick two months ago. However, the betting market drastically changed when the Panthers acquired the No. 1 overall pick. While the former Gator won’t be the top draft pick, Richardson is a first-round lock.
The young quarterback has met with several teams over the past few weeks, including multiple teams picking in the top 10. However, the two teams most associated with the former Gator are the Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans. Both teams have met with Richardson over the past several weeks.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Seattle is the favorite to draft Richardson at +250. Meanwhile, the Titans are right behind them at +260. The Indianapolis Colts (+350) are the only other team with odds under +650. Therefore, bettors should expect the former Gator to land with one of those three teams.
