Which Rubby De La Rosa Will We See in 2016

Rubby probably rubbed a lot of fantasy owners the wrong way last season, particularly in the second half. After posting a 1.14 WHIP, and 8.3 K/9 rate over the first two months, De La Rosa regressed mightily. He still finished with a 14-9 record, but, much like with new teammate Shelby Miller, wins and losses do not tell the whole story. His ERA was in the mid fours for most of the season, which is thoroughly unimpressive, as is the 1.357 WHIP he finished with.
He still has good stuff, so there is a chance he could get things going. Pitching at Chase Field doesn't help, but there is a bright side here. The additions of Shelby Miller and Zack Greinke will bolster the rotation and maybe being the number five starter will take some pressure off De La Rosa. The offense is also good enough to help De La Rosa get some wins even if he isn't much better than he was last season. There are A LOT of talented pitchers out there though, so De La Rosa might be a good last pick or someone to leave on the wire and then added should he start to put things together.
