The Tennessee Titans had to accept the fact that they were no longer the kings of the AFC South after their disastrous collapse in 2022, but it took a while for them to transition into their new era during the 2023 season.
The Titans tried to be competitive initially with Ryan Tannehill, but it didn't work out and they moved on to the Will Levis era after six games. Levis's play was wildly inconsistent, but his flashes of greatness like his four-touchdown game against the Falcons should excite Titans fans for their new QB.
Levis will work with a new head coach in Brian Callahan, while also potentially a new running back, as it's unlikely that franchise superstar Derrick Henry will be brought back for next season.

What Draft Picks Do The Tennessee Titans Own?
The Titans currently possess seven draft picks, as they are currently not projected to receive any compensatory picks. They have two picks in the first 38 selections, but they do not have a third-round pick this year.
Had the Titans lost (as many fans were hoping), they would've moved up from 7 to 6 in the draft.
A one-pick cost to knock your division rival out of the postseason feels worth it.

Titans fans are particularly concerned with those two picks, especially their first-round pick, which is the seventh overall pick in the entire 2024 NFL Draft. The team has had a terrible history with first-round picks in recent years, with disastrous selections like Isaiah Wilson and Caleb Farley. 2022 FRP Treylon Burks has also struggled with injuries.
Who Could The Tennessee Titans Draft In The First Round?
After these poor selections, the Titans took Tackle Peter Skoronski in 2023 before changing his position to Guard. Skoronski has shown some flashes of potential and is easily the Titans' best pick of the 2020s, so picking another offensive lineman to build around Skoronski would be a wise move.
Several Draft Projections now have big Joe Alt slated to be the 1st OL off the board, with the Titans being the projected destination. #IrishintheNFL ☘️

If the 6'8 Notre Dame Tackle Joe Alt falls to them at number seven, taking him would be a no-brainer. Alt is an intimidating presence who could give more time for Will Levis in the pocket and help whoever Tennessee's new running back will be. If Alt isn't available, they could go with Olumuyiwa Fashanu, who is a 6'6 Tackle out of Penn State. They could also choose a WR and draft DeAndre Hopkins' replacement with players like Washington's Rome Odunze or LSU's Malik Nabbers.
Tennessee's roster needs a lot of work before they can contend again, so they should just take things slow and steady and learn from their recent draft mistakes.
