The 2022 Colts were an absolute embarrassment, so much so that they decided to hit the reset button after the season, getting rid of QB Matt Ryan and head coaches Frank Reich and Jeff Saturday. They then brought in Anthony Richardson and Shane Steichen to lead them into the next generation.
This was supposed to be the year of Richardson, but injuries cut his rookie season short which caused Gardner Minshew to take over. Minshew had a very respectable season, with the team barely missing out on the playoffs after a loss to the Texans in Week 18.
Not even the most optimistic Colts fan could have expected the team to do this well, so they'll have a lot of expectations to do well in the 2024 season with a healthy Richardson.

What Draft Picks Do The Indianapolis Colts Own?
The Colts are projected to have seven draft picks, and the interesting thing about them is that they have exactly one pick in each round and all of their picks are their own original picks, which is a rarity in today's NFL.

Assuming that they won't trade their picks, this will be their second consecutive year of having at least one pick in each round. They have three picks in the first 82 selections, which includes the 15th overall pick of the draft.
Who Could The Indianapolis Colts Draft In The First Round?
One of the Colts' biggest weaknesses last year was stopping the passing game, and they need some help in the secondary. There are many great cornerbacks in the draft like Terrion Arnold, Nate Wiggins, Kool-Aid McKinstry, Cooper DeJean, Quinyon Mitchell, and Kamari Lassiter.

But they could also use some help on the defensive line, as their run-stopping was very poor as well. If a player like FSU's 6'4 DE Jared Verse or Penn State's 6'3 DE Demeioun Robinson can fall to them, don't be surprised if they jump at the opportunity.
It's unlikely, but they can also look at a WR if they want to give Anthony Richardson more weapons. FSU's Keon Coleman could be a good option as his height would be a massive asset to this team alongside Michael Pittman Jr., who is a fellow 6'4 wideout.
