For most of the season, the Baltimore Ravens looked like the clear Super Bowl favorites. They had the number one-ranked defense, and quarterback Lamar Jackson was playing at the top of his game. Baltimore also beat Super Bowl contenders (San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, and Miami Dolphins) all by double digits this year.
However, the Ravens came up short yet again in the playoffs. They beat the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round but fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship. Baltimore will now look to upgrade their roster in free agency and through the NFL Draft.
So, what draft picks do the Ravens have in the 2024 NFL Draft? Who could they take with their first-round pick?

What Draft Picks Do The Baltimore Ravens Own?
Baltimore currently has seven draft picks in this year's draft, excluding compensatory picks. But, the expectation is that the Ravens will gain another pick -- likely in the fourth round for the loss of guard Ben Power, who signed a four-year, $52 million deal with the Denver Broncos this past offseason.

That means Baltimore should have eight total picks in the 2024 NFL Draft. They should have one pick in each of the first, second, third, and fifth rounds and two picks in each of the fourth and seventh rounds. The Ravens currently don't own a sixth-round pick after moving up in last year's draft to select guard Andrew Vorhees. But they do have an extra seventh-round pick, thanks to the trade that sent safety Chuck Clark to the New York Jets.
Baltimore's first selection will come in the first round at pick 30 following a loss in the AFC Championship. They will then pick 62nd and 93rd after that.
Who Could The Baltimore Ravens Draft In The First Round?
The Ravens will be picking at the back end of the first round once again in the 2024 NFL Draft. The 30th pick is the latest Baltimore's first selection has come since the 2013 NFL Draft when they won the Super Bowl the year before and picked 32nd. This year, there are a lot of different ways the Ravens can go with their first pick.
A wide receiver, defensive lineman, or cornerback could all be an option for the Ravens at 30th. With Odell Beckham Jr. set to become a free agency and Rashod Bateman still not showing much growth on the outside, the team could decide to give Jackson another weapon in the receiving game. A player like Troy Franklin out of Oregon could be a possible pick to pair him up with Zay Flowers in the passing game.

But adding more defensive talent is certainly not off the table either. Baltimore could use a player like defensive tackle Darius Robinson from Missouri -- who sits at 6-foot-5 -- and can clog up the middle, or a cornerback like Cooper DeJean from Iowa. The possibilities are endless for a Ravens team looking to get to the Super Bowl.
