Tua Tagovailoa suffered another head injury in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills and has been out since then. This was the Miami Dolphins quarterback's third concussion of his NFL career, and in the aftermath of it, various concerns emerged about his health going forward.
The Dolphins rewarded Tagovailoa this past offseason, who did not miss a single game last season, with a four-year, $212.4 million contract extension. Unfortunately, he suffered another serious injury, and now the Dolphins are without their starting quarterback for the time being.
How serious is Tagovailoa's condition? Will he play again this season? Let's take a look at the latest injury update of the Dolphins star quarterback.

Tua Tagovailoa Injury Update for Fantasy Football
There were speculations regarding a possible retirement for Tagovailoa, but as per various sources, the 26-year-old quarterback is determined to make a return to the field.
The Dolphins placed him on the injured reserve after Week 2, which he will miss at least four games. One of those games was the Dolphins' 24-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 3.
From @NFLGameDay: #Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa has no plans to retire, sources say. He’s already begun seeing concussion specialists and will continue to do so, but there is no timeline to return. Tua will be back when he and his doctors deem him healthy and ready. pic.twitter.com/Cc6aQI8HcZ

As of now, there is no timeline for Tagovailoa's return. He could be back as soon as Week 8 but might even miss the whole season if he is advised for it by the doctors. The Dolphins have a bye in Week 6, which gives Tua an extra week to rest.
The Dolphins started Skylar Thompson in Tagovailoa's absence, but he also suffered an injury. Former Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley could start in Week 4 for the AFC East franchise alongside of journeyman Tim Boyle.
Tua Tagovailoa Fantasy Football Outlook
Tagovailoa had a dominating performance in his team's 20-17 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1. In that game, he threw for 338 yards and a touchdown, with a completion percentage of 62.2%.
Tua struggled massively in Week 2 before getting hurt. The Dolphins quarterback threw three interceptions in the game and once again failed to play well against the Bills.

Whenever Tagovailoa is cleared to play again, he will likely put up good numbers due to the personnel around him. The presence of Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and De'Von Achane makes things easier for Tagovailoa, and as long as he is healthy, he will get a decent number of points for the managers who have him on their fantasy football rosters.
Let's all hope for Tua's sake that he recovers from this and can remain concussion-free going forward.
