Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell has had a tremendous rookie campaign, posting three 100-yard games and seven touchdowns. The 24-year-old scored a touchdown in four straight games before Week 13, including two touchdowns in Week 9.
However, Dell only played 13% of the team's snaps in Week 14 due to an early leg injury. He had to be carted off and didn't return to the game.
When is Dell coming back to action? What is his fantasy football outlook when he returns? Let's dive in.

Tank Dell Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Dell suffered a broken fibula in the Week 14 game against the Broncos and underwent surgery the day after. Head coach DeMeco Ryans said he will be out for the remainder of the season.
Following surgery, Dell will likely miss at least three months before returning to full form. The injury doesn't tend to have lingering effects on the players' abilities, and he should be able to return to 100% in 2024.
This is a tough blow for the third-round pick who had easily surpassed his draft status in year one, recording 47 catches and 709 yards in just 11 games. He will be a hot commodity in the fantasy community heading into next season.
Tank Dell Fantasy Football Outlook
Dell currently ranks as WR19 this year, with four games going over 20 PPR points. Thanks in part to the breakout of fellow rookie C.J. Stroud, the Texans' offensive leap is one of the biggest surprises of the 2023 season. Along with Nico Collins, this is a dynamic young core in Houston for the foreseeable future.
For the rest of the season, Noah Brown, Nico Collins, and Robert Woods are all in line to handle the wide receiver work. Tight end Dalton Schultz is likely to remain a significant part of the team's plan going forward upon his return from injury as well.
Dell still holds great value in dynasty formats after exceeding expectations in year one. For redraft players, remember this breakout run from the Houston alum when preparing for 2024 drafts.
