There hasn't been a hitter in Major League Baseball who has been as productive at the plate per plate appearance this season as Royce Lewis.
The only problem is that Lewis simply hasn't been able to stay healthy and on the field for the Twins this season.
The dynamic young infielder, who enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2023, has appeared in just 23 games for Minnesota this season and has been out of the lineup since July 2. How soon can fantasy managers expect to see Lewis back on the field?

Royce Lewis Injury Update for Fantasy Baseball
Lewis has flashed incredible power so far this year, smashing ten home runs in just 89 at-bats. He injured himself on Opening Day and missed the first two months of the season before returning to the lineup in late May and picking up right where he left off.

Unfortunately, Lewis re-injured himself on July 2 and has been on the shelf for the last three weeks. The good news is that he was able to start a rehab assignment yesterday at Triple-A St. Paul and he should only need a few games to get ramped up and ready to join the major league club soon.
Royce Lewis Fantasy Baseball Outlook
Lewis has been an elite fantasy asset so far this season when healthy, which is reflected by his 93% rostership on Yahoo!
Now might be a good time to float a trade offer to other managers with Lewis on the roster, as his return is imminent, and he could be a top-20 fantasy asset in the second half.
Royce Lewis' rehab assignment begins today, hitting second and playing third base for St. Paul.
Jose Miranda worked at Target Field today and is tracking towards joining Lewis on rehab in St. Paul tomorrow.
Wouldn't be surprised to see them both active this weekend in Detroit.

There's always a risk of another injury, but hopefully, Lewis can return and provide elite fantasy value to managers. He could be back as early as the weekend series in Detroit, so plan accordingly.
